About The Camp
Football Is The Hook.
Life Skills Are The Point.
Since 2005, Athletes for Life has hosted the Summer Life Skills Football Camp — the largest free camp of its kind in the United States. Supported by the NFL Foundation, this 3-day overnight experience is designed for high school athletes who want to compete, grow, and walk away with more than just football skills.
Participants improve quickness, strength, and football IQ through 1-on-1 and 7-on-7 formats. They also take part in combine testing — the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, and three-cone drill.
But the real work happens off the field. Every night, students engage in AFL Life Skills sessions that cover the things no one else is teaching them.

Leadership & Life Skills
Teaching Young People How To Show Up For Life.
Sport is one of the most powerful classrooms in the world. It teaches discipline, accountability, how to win with grace and lose with dignity — and how to be a teammate when things get hard.
Our life skills programming takes those lessons off the field and puts them to work. Financial literacy. Mental health awareness. Social media responsibility. NCAA rules and regulations. These aren't electives — they're essentials.
-

-
