Player Development Program
The AFL High School Player Development (HSPD) Camp is focused on enhancing football technique, improving skill development, and increasing each players level of understanding while enhancing quickness and strength through a 7 on 7 passing formats. By the end of the camp, participants will have developed a better understanding of the fundamentals of blocking, catching, running and passing.
The AFL Junior Player Development (JPD) Camp is focused on teaching all areas of football technique, skill development, in addition to improving each players level of understanding while enhancing each players
quickness and strength. By the end of the camp, participants will have developed a better understanding of the fundamentals of blocking, catching, running and passing.
Both camps provide teaching and training to student-athletes who are participating or will be participating in football. Players will be separated based on age, size and skill level. This camp is for the student-athlete
looking to enhance their level of football knowledge while learning, enjoying and experiencing success
in the game. This is a FREE camp to all of the youth for the Inland Empire.
How To Be a Girl
The How To Be a Girl (HTBG) Program is taught by Josefa Salinas (the program creator) and industry-specific professionals who take the young women through everything they need to know to be confident, well put together and ready to present themselves to the world. This dynamic program is designed to teach empowerment. Just the word "GIRL" teaches Growth, Independence, Responsibility, and Leadership. By the end of the camp, participants will have developed a better understanding of the tools necessary to be successful in life. This is a FREE camp to young women from the Inland Empire.
Application for all three camps
CSUSB Release of liability waiver: General counsel and risk management have advised Athletes for Life we must collect physical waivers with wet signatures for each participant. CSUSB will need to collect these forms on the first day of camp on June 23, 2019. Upon receiving your official email from Barbara Nelson, you will be advised to print this document. Your son or daughter will be required to bring it on June 23, 2019, in order to participate.

What to Bring
Participants will need to supply their own equipment and cleats. All campers should bring the following items, at least 4 days of clothing, comfortable walking shoes, bedding and toiletries, and at least two towels and soap.
