LIFE SKILLS CAMP
ATHLETES FOR LIFE FOUNDATION'S
OUR MISSION
KEEP THE CAMP FREE. BUILD THE GENERATION.
Partner with Athletes for Life to help keep the Life Skills Football Camp free for high school student-athletes (grades 8–12).
For more than 30 years, Athletes for Life has used football as a platform to teach discipline, leadership, accountability, and real-life readiness. Today, school districts cover most program costs. With community and program partners, we can reduce financial pressure on schools, expand access, and strengthen the overall experience — without passing costs to families.
How Your Support Makes an Impact
Housing & Meals
Partner support helps cover:
-
Overnight lodging for multi-day participants
-
Daily meals and nutrition for athletes during camp
This ensures students can fully participate without families absorbing travel or lodging costs.
Football Training & Evaluation
Funds directly support:
-
On-field instruction and coaching staff
-
Combine testing (40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, agility drills)
-
Equipment, training tools, and field operations
This gives athletes access to structured, high-level development they would not otherwise receive.
Life Skills Education
Partner funding supports classroom programming focused on:
-
Financial literacy
-
NCAA rules and eligibility
-
Academic preparation
-
Mental health awareness
-
Leadership and decision-making
These sessions are a core part of the camp — not an add-on.
Apparel, Safety & Essentials
Partners help cover:
-
Camp apparel (shorts, socks)
-
Swag bags with required gear (mouthguards, water bottles, essentials)
-
Safety and participation materials
This ensures every athlete arrives equally equipped.
Student Access & Scholarships

Who You're Supporting
Community and program partners support high school student-athletes in grades 5–12 — teenagers at a critical stage of development.
These athletes come from multiple school districts and communities, many standing through school-funded enrichment programs. For many families, participation would not be possible without instructional and community support.

In-Kind & Service Program Partners
Not all program support is financial. Many partners contribute through goods, services, or professional expertise that directly reduce camp costs and help keep the program free for student-athletes.
In-kind and service support may include apparel and equipment, food and beverage, transportation, medical or wellness services, printing and media support, technology, or educational and professional programming.
These contributions are applied immediately to core camp operations and are recognized based on their fair-market value, with partners acknowledged alongside other Community & Program Partners.
Every non-monetary contribution reduces overhead, expands access, and strengthens the experience for participating students.
